14' Double Door Boxcars of the late 40's and 50's came in many different configurations. Number of panels on each side, Roof style (Murphy flat panel and Stanray angle panel are the types we replicate) End stampings (our models have 4/4 ribs, 4/3/1 ribs of the dreadnaught style and a later style which we call Tapered). We currently offer this car in 4 variations. The various combinations were manufactured by Standard Pressed Steel, Magor and others.
